Pat has already made hotel bookings for people that have said they will be coming, but there's still possibility for adding some more.

Each year the Tandem group has a weekend away, usually within cycling distance of Havant, staying at a hotel for three nights. That gives us two full days' cycling plus, if you wish, a ride to and from the hotel. While organised for the tandems, solo bikes are welcome as are non-cycling partners.

The 2015 weekend will be 17th, 18th and 19th April, staying at the Hampshire Court Hotel, Old Basing. We found this hotel excellent last year offering a good standard in food and also having a gym and pool available as part of the price. Our bikes were also well looked after in a conference suite inside the hotel.

The price will be £300 per double or twin room with breakfast and evening meal.

About tandem rides

Tandem rides once a month. Riders meet for elevenses then ride about 15 miles to lunch. Medium pace but slower up hills and faster down. Solos also welcome.
