Meet at 9.30 am outside the Library in Petersfield Market Square.
This ride was originally scheduled for 26th June and then 14th August. The elevenses destination has changed from Frensham Great Pond to Frensham Little Pond.
We start in Petersfield and cycle to Liss and Liphook making use of cycle paths beside the A3. After Liphook the route goes through Hammer Vale and up to Hindhead and the Devil’s Punch bowl, after which there is a descent via the cycle path to Thursley. Elevenses is at Frensham Little Pond. From there we will go on to Odiham for lunch.
The route back to Petersfield after lunch is via South Warnborough, Upper Froyle, Binsted and Oakhanger.
The route is mostly along quiet country lanes. Total ride distance to and from Petersfield is approximately 65 miles.
For those who are bringing their bikes by car to Petersfield there is a free car park at Petersfield Heath, take B2146 Sussex Road towards Chichester, car park is just past the heath pond on the left. It’s about 1 mile from the car park to the meeting point in the market square.

Turn right immediately after 1st pedestrian crossing as you approach the town centre from the south, car park is about ¼ mile from meeting point.
