As I am 'hors de combat' Cranky J is leading, and he has asked me to say it will be a bit slower as its his first decent ride since he injured himself.
Stats are 47.8k with 398m of climbing, or 400m if you wobble too much. None of it steep, in fact max is only 4.6%, though there is a down of 6%. Out via Durley, back via Knowle.
Don't forget the clocks change so you have to get up an hour earlier.
Finally if you intend to drive over I think they are still charging in the Ft Nelson main car park, but not the overflow one [other side of the road opposite the big gun]. alternative is to drive on down toward Fareham, and take 1st right after railway bridge where there is plenty of on road parking
Enjoy.
