Map

If you were disappointed not to be able to ride Winchester CTC's season opening Audax in January, you may want to join this Tuesday ride, which incorporates classic sections of the route.

We'll head to Preston Candover for Coffee, then continue North toward Kingsclere so we can climb over Watership Down & Where else to stop for lunch but the Watership Down Inn.

This is a long ride, so we'll start a little earlier at 08:30.

Distances are:
to elevenses, 37Km (23 miles)
to lunch, 43Km (27 miles) - including climb over Watership Down)
to Fareham 57Km (36 miles)
Total distances 137Km (85 miles)

If anyone wants a shorter and flatter ride there is an alternative route of 18Km between elevenses & lunch.

The ride will finish at Fareham.

About Pop-up rides

We have certain days when we try to organise regular rides. However, individual ride leaders can create pop-up rides for any day and time.

The small size of some pop-up rides means we might be unable to split a ride if you get into difficulties. We will do all we can to escort you back to the start point, but please be prepared to navigate yourself home or to call for support from a partner, relative or friend.
