The route out to Elevenses at Littleton Farm Upwaltham via West Dean and East Dean is moderate, as is the route from Elevenses to Houghton Bridge except for the short 16% climb at Bignor.
The return route from Houghton Bridge via Slindon initially includes a drag up to the Whiteways Lodge roundabout.
