DUE TO THE POSSIBILITY OF FLASH FLOODS ON THE HILLS THIS RIDE WILL BE REPLACED WITH A FLAT RIDE. - MEET AT THE SPRING 9.30 Woodmancote, Chichester, Bosham

The ride starts at Southwick (10am) and will continue through to Newtown, Soberton, Clanfield and Denmead returning to Southwick.

The coffee stop (and facilities) is at the Sustainability centre.

The ride is approximately 25 miles and 1,500 ft.

I have graded this as moderate as the pace will be ‘comfortable’ to enable a good ‘chinwag!’ whilst observing social distancing and safety on the roads.

Bookings for this ride

Pop-up rides are invitation-only. We are operating under Government guidelines which dictate we must control the size of our rides. Do not attend a ride unless your name appears below or you have received an invite from the ride leader. You cannot assume that you are eligible to join a ride just because you asked to be added.

This ride cannot exceed 6 riders (including the ride leader).

This ride is currently full but we encourage you to ask to join, even so. That will let the ride leader:

  • Find out the demand for that type of ride
  • Nominate you as a replacement if someone drops out
  • Arrange to split the ride if there is sufficient demand

Bookings (Log in to see rider names):

About Pop-up rides

We have certain days when we try to organise regular rides. However, individual ride leaders can create pop-up rides for any day and time.

The small size of some pop-up rides means we might be unable to split a ride if you get into difficulties. We will do all we can to escort you back to the start point, but please be prepared to navigate yourself home or to call for support from a partner, relative or friend.
