Rowlands Castle to Upwaltham and Plaistow

A loop north and east around Petworth, through the West Sussex countryside. The Plaistow is the one in West Sussex!

From Rowlands Castle we'll ride to Singleton and East Dean and stop at the Cadence Cafe near Upwaltham for elevenses (16 miles).
After the stop, we'll head over Duncton Down, through Lavington to Fittleworth and Kirdford) stopping for lunch at Plaistow (village shop), (17 miles).
After lunch we'll loop round through Shillinglee, Gospel Green and Lodsworth, then on to Midhurst for possible tea stop (alternative refreshment stop at South Harting shop}
Total round trip is about 65 miles.
Pace might be around 11mph average.

The small size of some pop-up rides means we might be unable to split a ride if you get into difficulties. We will do all we can to escort you back to the start point, but please be prepared to navigate yourself home or to call for support from a partner, relative or friend.
