Map
Part of the Cycling UK Cathedrals Route 2021. We ride at an easy pace from Portsmouth Cathedral to Winchester Cathedral following mostly lanes and cycle paths. There are hills between Bishops Waltham and Twyford.
Just to be clear the A grade applies to the complete Portsmouth-Winchester-Portsmouth ride. A number of participants will return from Winchester by train, and their ride is grade B (hilly), ridden at an easy pace. The return from Winchester to Portsmouth/Havant will be at a faster pace (probably).
This is the video Roger Carradus made of the ride...

About Pop-up rides
We have certain days when we try to organise regular rides. However, individual ride leaders can create pop-up rides for any day and time.
The small size of some pop-up rides means we might be unable to split a ride if you get into difficulties. We will do all we can to escort you back to the start point, but please be prepared to navigate yourself home or to call for support from a partner, relative or friend.
