Jeannette Walker will be talking about her long time escapades and experiences with CTC. Jeannette is a friend of Halina Absalom who writes:
Jeannette is a very interesting, kind, intelligent, well travelled retired lady who lives near Chiddingfold. Many years ago she worked for CTC and did ride leading in the days before Garmins and mobile phones. She has some great stories to tell of these days.
She’s still very adventurous at 70+ and cycles lots alone (on an ebike now) or with friends.
I’m sure our members would enjoy a reminiscent evening of the days when CTC relied on true grit and no gadgets. Perhaps it could be an interesting interaction between us all.

About club nights
These take place on the second and fourth Thursday evenings of the month during the winter at the Bedhampton social hall, Bedhampton Road, Havant, PO9 3ES starting from 7.45 for 8pm. £1.50 entrance, including tea or coffee and biscuits.
