Distance return: about 63miles. Height gained: over 1,250 metres.
We head over Bexley Hill to Lurgashall for coffee, after which we ride to Kirdford via Northchapel. We ascend Horsebridge Hill (maximum gradient: 15%), descend to Fittleworth and then ride to Coates, Duncton Common, and Graffham for lunch. The route then takes us to Heyshott, Cocking, Singleton and West Dean, with the option of tea at the village shop. The route home is via Lavant and Funtington.
