This is a re-run of the ride I had to forgo because I pulled a muscle in my foot.

We'll leave from Havant to go to Knowle Haven via Rowlands Castle, Horndean, Hoe Gate, Mislingford and Wickham.

Knowle Haven is an open space with picnic benches off Mayles Lane south of Knowle. We'll stop there for a 'bring your own' elevenses.

From there we'll follow the usual route via Titchfield and Hill Head but instead of following the coast, we'll take a tour of the cycle paths to get to Gosport via Rowner and Hardway to enter Gosport through the Explosion Museum where we can either stop for lunch, continue to Gosport and lunch there, or just continue across the ferry without stopping. It just depends what we feel like.

Bookings for this ride/event

Pop-up rides are invitation-only. We are operating under Government guidelines which dictate we must control the size of our rides. Do not attend a ride unless your name appears below or you have received an invite from the ride leader. You cannot assume that you are eligible to join a ride just because you asked to be added.

This ride cannot exceed 6 riders (including the ride leader).

This ride is currently full but we encourage you to ask to join the wait list. That will let the ride leader:

  • Find out the demand for that type of ride
  • Nominate you as a replacement if someone drops out
  • Arrange to split the ride if there is sufficient demand

Bookings recorded for this ride (Log in to see rider names):

About Pop-up rides

We have certain days when we try to organise regular rides. However, individual ride leaders can create pop-up rides for any day and time.

The small size of some pop-up rides means we might be unable to split a ride if you get into difficulties. We will do all we can to escort you back to the start point, but please be prepared to navigate yourself home or to call for support from a partner, relative or friend.
