Hidden Churches - A leisurely-paced ride starting at 10:00 from near the Hilsea Lido bus stop rank. Route out is via Paulsgrove to the Dovecote Eatery Cams Estate for a swift coffee break, then continuing via Town Quay and west towards Ranvilles Lane, Crofton Old Church, Old Street, Hill Head (toilets). A short coastal stretch to the Airport cafe, then Alver Valley, Rowner Church, Eclipse. where there is the possibility of coming back through Fareham or leaving the ride to return via Gosport ferry. We use shared paths and tracks in places and avoid most main roads. Some parts are possibly not suitable for road bikes with narrow tyres and we will dismount for some short interconnecting bits along the route. Approx 25 miles. Return 15:00 ish.

About Pop-up rides

We have certain days when we try to organise regular rides. However, individual ride leaders can create pop-up rides for any day and time.

The small size of some pop-up rides means we might be unable to split a ride if you get into difficulties. We will do all we can to escort you back to the start point, but please be prepared to navigate yourself home or to call for support from a partner, relative or friend.
