Here is a chance to use up some calories in preparation for Christmas excesses. Join me for a leisurely-paced fairly flat ride out to the Dovecote Eatery at Cams Estate, Fareham for a light late elevenses/early lunch snack. The varied route will be using some cycle lanes and residential roads and is via Farlington Marshes, Cosham and Paulsgrove. Meet for 9:45 start at the Havant Spring Centre, or by arrangement at 10:15 Farlington Marshes car park (Eastern Road). Approx 22 miles. Back by 13:30 ish. The Dovecote Eatery offers good value and variety and has a spacious covered area and an adjacent sheltered open area. Check out their website for further details of this rustic setting.
