Map
A repeat of the short ride from Havant to Compton, mostly off-road with some lovely Downland views and coffee and cake in Compton village. Only 33 km but a total ascent of 378 m make this a hilly ride. Take advantage of the current dry spell to avoid sinking in mud.
Lovely Downland
Best enjoyed on your new gravel bike with hydraulic brakes, low gears and fat tyres; but in reality any bike with sturdy tyres, low gears and good brakes will be fine. Riders will need to be confident riding some stony bridleways with occasional steep gradients (up and down).
