Due to very changeable conditions, POSTPONE until a later date. So not happening on 21st.

This is the same route as I had planned for last Monday 17th , but which had to abort 1/2 hr after start due to torrential rain and flooding. Hopefully, we will be able to complete it this time !

Meet for start 9.45 at East Meon, Froxfield, Charlwood, Four Marks (Coffee), Upper Wield, Brown Candover (lunch), Totford, Itchen Abbas, Ovington, Tichborne, Cheriton, West Meon, ride ends at East Meon.

41 miles, 2800 feet climbing. And some lovely freewheeling too !

Starting options: a) From Havant, may be another person to ride with to East Meon, add 28 miles and 1200 feet (?).
b) Drive to East Meon; car park on west side of village (Public car park, not Village Hall).

Coffee Nosh Café, Four Marks at 13 miles from E Meon.
Bring packed lunch at Brown Candover, edge of cricket ground near church, at 21 miles from E Meon.

There is a small village shop in Preston Candover, approx 200 m off our route if you need to supplement your packed lunch. This is approx 3 flat miles from the lunch stop.

No other facilities on route.

PCTC members only.

About Pop-up rides

We have certain days when we try to organise regular rides. However, individual ride leaders can create pop-up rides for any day and time.

The small size of some pop-up rides means we might be unable to split a ride if you get into difficulties. We will do all we can to escort you back to the start point, but please be prepared to navigate yourself home or to call for support from a partner, relative or friend.
