We'll be running two competitions this evening:

  1. At the foot of a hill you'll be asked to estimate the time it will take you to get to the top. You won't - of course - be allowed to use a watch or bike computer.
  2. At the top of a hill, you'll be asked to see how far you can go without pedalling or putting your foot down. We'll tie a piece of wool to your crank to make sure you don't pedal.

Socialise at the Bird in Hand afterwards.

About evening pub rides

Thursday evening rides in the summer from Havant or Farlington Marshes depending on direction. Destination is a pub for a drink or a meal.

There's a good chance you will arrive home after dark so you should bring some lights with you.

This article describes what you should consider bringing with you.

We have had a lot of spam comments, so each comment now has to be moderated before it can be shown. It can therefore take some time before your comment appears. There is no delay, however, if you use the 'Contact us about this event' link.
