Map
An Affluent riders trip. Starting at the Fox & Hounds the route takes us along the much travelled roads through Swanmore & Fishers Pond onto Colden Common where we join the 'Silver Set' in the Brambridge Garden centre after 19 miles. Bring a second debit card in-case the first becomes depleted!
From here we work our way through Otterbourne & Hursley, over the north of Winchester to Preston Candover stopping at 'The Yard' after a further 22 miles. Enjoy a month's allocation of cheese in the Sourdough toastie and marvel at the exotic bikes that have travelled down from Basingstoke.
From here the route travels south through the Alresfords and Cheriton, passing within sniffing distance of the Flower Pots PH! The ride finishes at the cross roads just south of Corhampton Golf Club where riders can select their chosen route home. The route will have provided 55 miles of riding at this point.

About Wednesday rides
Wednesday rides usually start from Havant with stops for elevenses, lunch and sometimes tea. If you're unable to keep up or have a mechanical problem, someone will be available to help you - although we obviously cannot guarantee to solve all problems.
Wednesday rides usually provide a range of options to riders as we'll try to arrange multiple rides with different paces, distance and degree of hilliness.
On Wednesdays it is likely that there will be several riders coming back to the Havant area after an elevenses stop - although they might not include a PCTC ride leader. If that is what you'd like to do, please consult the ride organiser before the day of the ride to ensure someone knows and is able to bring you back.
This article describes what you should consider bringing with you on one of these rides.
