To celebrate the PCTC's centenary, this will be a 100k/62 miles to King's Somborne via Bishops Waltham (coffee stop at No. 60), lunch at Winchester (Handlebar Cafe) and Tea at Brambridge (Garden Centre).

We will depart at 09.15 from Mickey's house where coffee/tea/biscuits will be provided free of charge from 08.30 onwards. (Mickey's address is will be emailed to participants). There will be plenty of car parking for those who will be driving to the start.

We will finish at The Cob and Pen at Wallington for a beer and join up with the 100 mile riders. Expected finish time as 18.30.

It's 1 mile back to Mickey's place to get your car.

Ride leader notes

I have 3 bikes: an Orbea e-bike, a Specialized Ruby bike that has had Cytronex fitted to provide electric assist and a steel touring bike - Argos racing cycles of Bristol which has also had Cytronex fitted. I like to have a pace of around 10-12 mph, preferring slower than fast. I don't mind hills, but try to keep the ascent to a sensible level.

My preferred distance is 40-60 miles, but I'm equally happy to do shorter rides.

About Saturday rides

Saturday rides tend to be small ones. Typically we offer fewer options for rides than Wednesdays, but more flexibility for routes and destinations.

Most rides are morning only, riding out to a stop for elevenses and back again.

Some will be full day with stops for elevenses, lunch and, possibly, tea. If you want to join a full day ride but only to elevenses and need someone to help you with the route back, please let us know in advance of the ride in case someone else that knows the route wants to do the same.
