About Wednesday rides
Wednesday is our most popular day for riding. On any given Wednesday, it's likely you'll see a range of different rides. The most common start point is the Havant Spring Centre, although ride leaders can select alternatives if they want.
Rides are usually half-day or full-day.
Half day rides are usually morning rides to a stop for elevenses and back again.
Full day rides stop for elevenses, lunch and sometimes tea. It's possible there will be a rider coming back to the start after elevenses - although they might not be a formal PCTC ride leader. If that is what you'd like to do, please consult the ride organiser before the day of the ride to ensure someone knows and is able to bring you back if that's what you need.
If you're unable to keep up or have a mechanical problem, someone will be available to help you - although we obviously cannot guarantee to solve all problems.
This article describes what you should consider bringing with you on one of these rides.
