Start Spring Havant 9.15.
My usual route to Sustainability centre via Rowlands, Finchdean, Chalton. 13 miles.

Then to Liss, Turtle bean for lunch via Coombe, Bailey Green (Privett), Froxfield, Priors Dean, Oakshott, West Liss. 17 miles.

Note I am not going via Hawkley but the lovely lane around the bottom of the Hangers via Oakshott (just a few little ups and downs ) .

I will book a table at Turtle Bean. for 1.00. Please note T. Bean has a small kitchen so may take 30 mins to be served.

Back to Havant 16 miles, but formal ride will end when I leave at Sheet / Petersfield. I can continue to Buriton if you are unsure of route.
Option to be decided on the day: Return from Liss via Steep, Ramsdean, QEP: adds approx. 4 miles, but avoids P’fld. I would then leave ride at roundabout for Butser cutting.

So totals 46 (or option 50 ) miles.

I have marked as ‘hilly’, but I would say hardest climbs are passed Butser Ancient Farm, and climb from Clanfield to Sust Ctre.
Some lanes are quite dark now with foliage so advise lights to 'be seen'.

I will add 2 extra places for people who just want to go to 11's. PLEASE SAY if 11's only.

Max 6 day, 2 for 11's so max 8 at Spring

About Wednesday rides

Wednesday rides usually start from Havant with stops for elevenses, lunch and sometimes tea. If you're unable to keep up or have a mechanical problem, someone will be available to help you - although we obviously cannot guarantee to solve all problems.

Wednesday rides usually provide a range of options to riders as we'll try to arrange multiple rides with different paces, distance and degree of hilliness.

On Wednesdays it is likely that there will be several riders coming back to the Havant area after an elevenses stop - although they might not include a PCTC ride leader. If that is what you'd like to do, please consult the ride organiser before the day of the ride to ensure someone knows and is able to bring you back.
