We meet at 6-45 for a 7pm start outside Hambledon Parade on Hambledon Rd., Waterlooville. Opposite the Falcon Inn. The ride is 30km with two longish moderate inclines. It's on mainly minor roads via Hambledon Road cycle track to Denmead, Southwick, part of Boarhunt Road, Nine Elms Lane and Wallington to Fareham Creek. Its an attractive ride with good views and roughly follows the course of the Wallinton River from where it surfaces in Waterlooville to the sea at Fareham Creek. The return is on a similar route.

About Waterlooville CCC rides

We have established a Community Cycling club for Waterlooville - a series of cycle rides in the Waterlooville area for people who are new to group riding or who haven't cycled for a while. All are circular routes in moderate terrain that avoid steep inclines but may include a steeper descent. As far as possible we will avoid busy roads. Routes are all less than 30km long (most substantially less). Our aim is to make cycling enjoyable, safe and welcoming for all.
