This year we have several places available for you to join some other old stalwarts at Slindon for the famous eating, drinking, slashing and burning weekend.
This is a fun weekend where you can join fellow cyclists without the lycra and help keep our precious countryside in good order by working with the National Trust wardens on essential conservation tasks . Evenings we relax after eating far too much.There are at present 5 vacancies
Wally does the provisioning so all you have to bring is a sleeping bag, towels etc, some working clothes and perhaps some liquid refreshment (although some wine is on shopping list).
The base camp has two dorms, one 10 bed, one 6 bed, showers and toilets, a good kitchen and comfortable lounge with log fire. It's quite luxurious. Cost will be £12 - £13 for the weekend. Loads of food and good company.

The power of the website has worked and we now have a full compliment of 17 for our weekend. Newcomers ,I hope you know what you have let yourself in for - read the past reviews in previous years mags. I will write to all when I return from my eating training session in Tunisia. Thanks to all.
