Map
The ride will start from Petersfield Market Square - outside the library - at 9.15am
The ride will explore the hills to the north west of Petersfield, known as the Hangers. There are many beautiful quiet lanes in this area and I aim to cover as many of them as possible. The total ride distance is about 49 miles, it is hilly with many short but steep climbs and some of the road surfaces are in poor repair.
For those who are bringing their bikes by car to Petersfield there is a free car park at Petersfield Heath, take B2146 Sussex Road towards Chichester, car park is just past the heath pond on the left. It’s about 1 mile from the car park to the meeting point in the market square, directions:
Heath Car Park (beware! there is a 6ft headroom barrier)

(nearest postcode for satnav is GU31 4LB),
Alternative parking is available at:

Turn right immediately after 1st pedestrian crossing as you approach the town centre from the south, car park is about ¼ mile from meeting point.
About Tuesday rides
The Tuesday rides are typically 60-80 miles at a moderately fast pace while maintaining the social nature of the Saturday and Wednesday rides. The rides will start at various locations to be determined by the individual ride leader.
