Phil Beed will be our presenter. He writes:
Thankfully most of our bike rides are incident free, but there is always a possibility of something occurring or coming across someone in need of assistance. Tonight I'll be taking a look at what any cyclist, regardless of whether they have first aid training, could do in these situations. I'll be drawing on experience of incidents I've encountered to consider the sort of things any of us could do if we found ourselves in similar circumstances. I'm aiming to keep this serious subject reasonably light hearted, but hope we will be able to generate some ideas, thoughts and discussion that will lead to us all being a little more confident and safer whether it be on club rides, other cycling events or riding on our own.
