The first club night of the new year will be "The ups & downs of randonneuring".

Join Phil Beed in a Zoom meeting as he re-lives the enjoyment and pain of his 2019 Super Randonneur Series, ridden to qualify for Paris-Brest-Paris.

To participate fully, you'll need:

  • a PC, tablet or phone with a decent internet connection;
  • speakers or headphones; and
  • a microphone.

The meeting will start with announcements, as usual. The Zoom conference will not be time-limited so there will be no need to log back in after 40 minutes.

There'll be an opportunity to ask questions at the end. You can also ask them during the meeting - please do that using Zoom's chat system. Please do not address questions to 'everyone' - instead send them to Phil.

You don't need a Zoom account to join, but you can get a free one at zoom.us.

If you're unsure whether your device is up to it and whether it is configured correctly, you should check it out before the presentation: you can join a test meeting at zoom.us/test. The test asks you to speak a message which it plays back to you, testing both your microphone and playback device.

To join the presentation click this link just before it starts. You will be asked for a passcode, click here to log in to see it. Andy will have published the passcode and a link that doesn't need a passcode in his 11th December update email. If you are not a PCTC member, contact Joy or Phil via the 'Contact us about this event' link above.

Please mute your microphone during the presentation so you don't disrupt it. Thanks.
