- No target pace (we will ride at speed of the slowest riders)
- A - Severe. Route has extreme elevation change, with both short and longer sustained climbs (e.g. Duncton Hill).
- B - Very hilly. Route has major elevation change, with longer sustained climbs (e.g. Harting Hill from the south).
- C - Hilly. Route is undulating with a number of short climbs involved (e.g. Havant to Bishop's Waltham).
- D - Gentle. Route has minor elevation change on gentle slopes (e.g. south coast cycle route to Chichester).
- E - Flat. Route has little or no elevation change (e.g. Portsea Island).

A comfortably paced ride designed with those returning to cycling in mind. Mainly off road on the Centurion Way that runs from the Tesco Bridge Chichester to West Dean. Pleasant scenery with a coffee stop at the West Dean Stores before retracing our steps to Lavant and heading to Minerva Heights , Parklands and back to the Westgate Leisure Centre. Three hours or thereabouts.

This is a Return To Cycling (RTC) ride for new riders. The rides being offered in this series are a combination of off road, quiet roads or country lanes over different distances, with intention of building confidence to allow you to join the club rides that we offer. These rides are not open to existing club members.
