The ride will commence in Fareham and will continue on to Hilsea, Farlington Marshes, Havant and Rowlands castle where we will stop for coffee or picnic. From Rowlands castle we will continue on to Blendworth and return to Fareham via Denmead. There are some hills on the last part of the ride.

The route is approximately 30 miles long incorporating cycle paths and quiet roads where possible. This ride is designed for those who prefer the more ‘sedate’ cycling in order to have a good chat whilst maintaining road safety and social distancing.

If the ride is full please contact me in case of last minute cancellations.

Bookings for this ride/event

Pop-up rides are invitation-only. We are operating under Government guidelines which dictate we must control the size of our rides. Do not attend a ride unless your name appears below or you have received an invite from the ride leader. You cannot assume that you are eligible to join a ride just because you asked to be added.

This ride cannot exceed 6 riders (including the ride leader).

This ride is currently full but we encourage you to ask to join the wait list. That will let the ride leader:

  • Find out the demand for that type of ride
  • Nominate you as a replacement if someone drops out
  • Arrange to split the ride if there is sufficient demand

About Pop-up rides

We have certain days when we try to organise regular rides. However, individual ride leaders can create pop-up rides for any day and time.

The small size of some pop-up rides means we might be unable to split a ride if you get into difficulties. We will do all we can to escort you back to the start point, but please be prepared to navigate yourself home or to call for support from a partner, relative or friend.
