We meet outside the Falcon Pub to the West of Hambledon Parade. Start is along the Denmead Cycle route. Then Forest Rd & Shoot Hill & Liberty Road to Woodend, Mislingford & Swanmore
The return is via Swanmore, Cott Street Roman Road, Across A32. Then left up a moderate incline & turn right at top of hill & follow Rd., past Broom & Hoe Cross Farms & down 17% Cams Hill to Hambleton & up School Lane to Denmead. Then Back via Anmore & Soake & on cycleway to Falcon Pub.

I've two bikes. A Thorn Sherpa & a Whyte Dorset.
This year the longest rides I've cycled are both 82km. One hilly & one mainly flat. Last year I cycled between 100km & 110km on 4 four days. I can cycle up almost all on road hills in the South Downs but I'm slow on steeper hills. On most rides I average between 14 & 19 km/hour.
The Thorn Sherpa has a very wide range of gears.
About Waterlooville CCC rides
We have established a Community Cycling club for Waterlooville - a series of cycle rides in the Waterlooville area for people who are new to group riding or who haven't cycled for a while. All are circular routes in moderate terrain that avoid steep inclines but may include a steeper descent. As far as possible we will avoid busy roads. Routes are all less than around 60km long (most substantially less). Our aim is to make cycling enjoyable, safe and welcoming for all.
