The Aldingbourne centre is open again - hurrah!
We'll start in Havant and ride out to Aldingbourne for coffee and cake. It will be almost like a return to normal.
From there we'll go to Chichester via Fontwell, Eastergate and Oving.
I suggest a picnic in Priory Park. You can either bring a packed lunch or get a takeaway something in Chichester. There are at least two open toilets in Chichester and I suspect the ones in Priory Park will be open too.
From there we can decide how we want to get back to Havant. A visit to the Bull's Head or the Woodmancote could easily be accommodated.
Bookings for this ride/event
Pop-up rides are invitation-only. We are operating under Government guidelines which dictate we must control the size of our rides. Do not attend a ride unless your name appears below or you have received an invite from the ride leader. You cannot assume that you are eligible to join a ride just because you asked to be added.
This ride cannot exceed 6 riders (including the ride leader).
There are 6 spaces available for the leader and riders. Of these, 2 are left.

Ride leader notes
I ride an assistance e-bike which allows me to do most hills. I have a range extender that allows me to do 80-90 hilly miles or further for flatter rides.
My maximum comfortable speed on the flat without wind is 13mph at the start of a ride. I find, however, I can manage faster speeds after a few hours of riding. I struggle with balance when riding speeds lower than around 7mph.
Otherwise, I don't mind about pace when leading or joining rides. I'm out to enjoy the ride and speed is not part of that for me.
I get the biggest kick out of supporting new riders when they find out they can achieve much more than they thought.
About Pop-up rides
We have certain days when we try to organise regular rides. However, individual ride leaders can create pop-up rides for any day and time.
The small size of some pop-up rides means we might be unable to split a ride if you get into difficulties. We will do all we can to escort you back to the start point, but please be prepared to navigate yourself home or to call for support from a partner, relative or friend.
