Once your name is on the list you can book your hotel ASAP but the ride will be capped at 12 (6 in each group). The George has a number of options including cancellable ones - you choose. Once you've told me you've booked your accommodation your place will be confirmed.
Note on Booking - Both the hotel website and booking.com have no twin rooms shown as available. I phoned the hotel and was told to add that I wanted a twin to my booking. You may also wish to call to confirm.
Bike storage - The hotel has a room for bikes and somewhere to charge them if required. We used this room (although not the charging) which was at the rear and locked by staff.
