Map
This is a 2-day alphabet trip to the Isle of Wight, staying overnight at Chale, on the south coast.
We plan to visit VENTNOR, for letter V and Amazon World ZOO for letter Z.
Most of us will stay at the Wight Mouse Inn at Chale. We will take the car ferry from Portsmouth to Fishbourne, then go mainly on cycleways to Newport, join the Red Squirrel cycle path down to Newchurch and have lunch at the Pedallers' cafe. Then we'll head south on small roads to Chale.
Next day, Thursday 24th, we'll return to Fishbourne and then home.
