Not sure how I managed it, but I put the wrong date on this ride originally. 14 June is the correct date.

This ride is intended for riders new to group riding - maybe you were enthused by the lack of traffic during the emergency.

Priority will be given to people who haven't ridden with us before and - in particular - people who registered for the cancelled Cathedral Challenge.

We will start in the Havant area and ride for around an hour and a half on mainly quiet roads and cycle lanes.

Unfortunately we will be unable to stop somewhere for coffee and cake, but we will have a break at an open space. Please bring something with you.

If you would like to join us please click the 'Contact us about this ride' link above.

If you would like us to give your bike a quick safety check, please let us know in your request.

Bookings for this ride/event

Pop-up rides are invitation-only. We are operating under Government guidelines which dictate we must control the size of our rides. Do not attend a ride unless your name appears below or you have received an invite from the ride leader. You cannot assume that you are eligible to join a ride just because you asked to be added.

This ride cannot exceed 4 riders (including the ride leader).

This ride is currently full but we encourage you to ask to join the wait list. That will let the ride leader:

  • Find out the demand for that type of ride
  • Nominate you as a replacement if someone drops out
  • Arrange to split the ride if there is sufficient demand

Bookings recorded for this ride (Log in to see rider names):

  • A non-PCTC member
  • A non-PCTC member
  • A non-PCTC member

To ask to join this ride, please use the 'Contact us about this ride' link above to send an email to the ride leader.

About Pop-up rides

We have certain days when we try to organise regular rides. However, individual ride leaders can create pop-up rides for any day and time.

The small size of some pop-up rides means we might be unable to split a ride if you get into difficulties. We will do all we can to escort you back to the start point, but please be prepared to navigate yourself home or to call for support from a partner, relative or friend.
