- D - Gentle. Route has minor elevation change on gentle slopes (e.g. south coast cycle route to Chichester).
- E - Flat. Route has little or no elevation change (e.g. Portsea Island).

This is an evening ride forming part of the Centenary camping trip. It is a 20 mile ride involving three climbs one of which is the destination Solsbury Hill. From here the view of the illuminated town of Bath is said to be spectacular.
