A tour of some of the “Pride of Lions” sculptures along the Eastern side of Portsmouth. A longer morning, leisurely-paced ride along cycle ways and some roads with frequent stops. Refreshment stop at South Parade Pier half way round returning to the start point early afternoon.

This is a Return To Cycling (RTC) ride for new riders. The rides being offered in this series are a combination of off road, quiet roads and country lanes over different distances, with intention of building confidence to allow you to join the club rides that we offer. These rides are not open to existing club members.

Ride leader notes
I ride a Thorn touring cycle and prefer to lead or participate in rides at a more leisurely pace of 10-11 miles per hour.
I prefer the shorter day or half day rides or local short tours. I do enjoy going off road and do not mind hills as long as there aren't too many of them.
