Opportunity for a leisurely-paced fairly flat ride out to the Dovecote Eatery at Cams Estate, Fareham for a light late elevenses/early lunch snack. The weather forecast is showing sunny with a gentle breeze. The varied and scenic route will be using some cycle lanes and residential roads and is via Farlington Marshes, Cosham and Paulsgrove. Meet for 9:45 start at the Havant Spring Centre, or at 10:15 Farlington Marshes car park (Eastern Road), or at Hilsea bus rank 10:40 by arrangement. Approx 23 miles. Back by 13:45 ish. The Dovecote Eatery offers good value and variety and has a spacious covered area and an adjacent sheltered open area. Check out their website for further details of this rustic setting.
