The alphabet ride for May is for I for Itchenor.
The pace will be about 10 MPH and there will be a few miles of tracks.
We will cycle out via Fishbourne for coffee and then pick up the canal tow path at the Chichester Canal Basin to Chichester Marina. We will then follow the Salterns Way to Itchenor for the customary group photo. Here we will stop at the Quarterdeck Cafe for lunch which is now under new ownership.
Afterwards we will cross over to Bosham Hoe via the ferry.
Please make sure that you have the £3.50 cash for the ferry. Due to the popularity of this ride, it may well take two ferry trips on the return leg.
It will be close to high tide so we will take the inland route round Bosham back to the A259. The route back to The Spring will likely be along the direct lanes. Expected return around 4pm.

About Wednesday rides
Wednesday rides usually start from Havant with stops for elevenses, lunch and sometimes tea. If you're unable to keep up or have a mechanical problem, someone will be available to help you - although we obviously cannot guarantee to solve all problems.
Wednesday rides usually provide a range of options to riders as we'll try to arrange multiple rides with different paces, distance and degree of hilliness.
On Wednesdays it is likely that there will be several riders coming back to the Havant area after an elevenses stop - although they might not include a PCTC ride leader. If that is what you'd like to do, please consult the ride organiser before the day of the ride to ensure someone knows and is able to bring you back.
