Slindon 2015 photos

Here are some photos from the recent week-end away at Slindon organised by Wally. Unfortunately illness prevented him from attending so Pat took on his cooking duties. Once again, Katie from the National Trust kept our noses to the grindstone.

We worked with the National Trust to fell and chop up Hazel trees that were encroaching on a path used by NT tractors and other vehicles.

We had a great time. The weather was damp on the Saturday, but we really didn't notice while we were working. The food was, as ever, excellent as was the company. Speak to

  1. I deeply regret not being with you but after delivering the provisions I was told to clear off so that my bugs were confined to Southsea. Thanks to Pat for so ably taking over as Chef du Cuisine and to all of the stalwarts for ensuring that the event was a success. I have been told it was the best ever so you must have been trained well over the years and I am happy to take credit for that. The photos demonstrate that the devastation was up to the usual standards and the food looks brilliant. Thank you all. I will get in touch with Katie to see if she wants us back next year
