I trust you have noted the start is at Bedhampton! Entering into the Christmas spirit, such as fancy dress, or even just a bit of tinsel on the bike, is actively encouraged

We will be going round Portsea Island and over the Goppo Ferry. I haven't decided yet whether we are going clockwise and returning 'the other way', or vice versa. Ferry tickets are £3.40 return, you can't get singles but you can use them the same way twice. I will try to get down to the ferry to get a book of 10 as that works out at £1.20 a ticket, somewhat of a difference *. This is 'seniors' rate but of the regulars only Sarah looks younger anyway so it shouldn't be a problem!

We'll be going to my house at Hill Head for the Mulled Wine and hopefully cake though this depends on the result of the negotiation with SheWhoMustBeObeyed. [Sky News have just reported from outside ACAS that a satisfactory conclusion is expected shortly.]

*Breaking news: Goppo Ferry Co wont let you buy a book of tickets and 'share them' you each have to buy your own!
